good year for me. hope 2006 is also good. highlights - having a house for longer than 6 months, making it through first year of marriage, 6th of sobriety. what else could be important?

dylan moran. probably been around ages, but i'm just watching his show 'monster', its fooking hilarious. i reckon he's the new billy connolly, except irish. very funny, very natural, very much like connolly in fact, in delivery, except obviously the material is all different. he rocks.

Its rare, but some evenings in winter I notice the sun is about to set. not because england has such terrible weather and i am afraid to go out, but because the sun set comes so damn soon after the sun rise. I am still getting used to the whole light issue, even after three winters. groan.
