Vienna

Went off to Vienna over Christmas. Quite surprised to have expectations shattered, but really got into the swing of it after a few days.

The photos are here on Flickr but i thought i'd share one of my favourites here. I recommend a visit to Vienna if you love cake even half as much as i do.

my nose is out of joint

have you ever tried, i mean _really tried_ to look up the inside front part of your own nostril? It takes mirrors, spatial awareness and breath control. then there's the light issue.
as luck would have it, i am getting a boil in my nose, and its welling and hurting and just plain contorting the damn shape. damn those quacks. i have been on antibiotics four times and they keep coming back. i'm starting to believe i have MRSA.
athe silver lining is that now, instead of ranting and bitching about all the other, really significant fucking irritations in my world, i can truthfully and simply say, "my nose is out of joint".

ho ho. sometimes i just crack myself up.

i want to be this guy...

i play chess at redhotpawn. yup, another snippet of my fragmented identity.
this guy (http://www.redhotpawn.com/profile/playerprofile.php?uid=68274)
is in my 'clan' where i play chess with other geeks against geeks like us.

now if only i could get that cool pelvic action on...

Café du matin / Morning coffee

this is why i want to learn how to take better pictures...
i've recently discovered flickr, and i'm hooked. what a shame there aren't any extra hours in the day to spend feeding my eyeballs

go to this website immediately

something is here. The reason i go back to this page every so often is just to reassure myself that all is well with the web.

I mean, in a web packed with shit, its refreshing to see something that does exactly what it does on the tin. kudos to tucows for keeping this up.
